Combeferre is amazing.
He believed in trains, anaesthesia, photography, the telegraph, and vaguely, aeroplanes, in 1832.
He also was into hypnosis, deciphered hieroglyphics, liked to find mistakes in the dictionary, didn’t deny the existence of ghosts, disliked the narrowness and poverty of the classical period of literature (I presume 1500-1800?, the neo-classical era?) and hated bureaucracy.
If you don’t love Combeferre, I shall love him a little more to make up for it.
I was born in the wrong time period. I should have been born in the far future when everyone has the rights they fucking deserve
and space ships.
and every food is healthy
and time machines
and other future stuff
I should’ve been born on the Enterprise
